Retouching Portraits
1st attempt.

I used this image and opened it in photoshop.

Then i used the healing tool to remove some blemishes and brighten her skin.

I used the brush tool to add eyeshadow and eyeliner. I used the opacity setting to adjust it.

Next i moved to the lips and did the same thing.

Finally finished with the other eye.

The final picture.

2nd attempt

The image i used.

I opened the image then duplicated two layers so that i do not change the original picture.
Then i used the healing tool to remove all the wrinkles by replacing it with another part of her skin.
But not all so that the natural look can be maintained.

Then i used the bluring tool to blur out the fine lines and freckles.

Then i erased the areas around the face. I also erased the eyes and lips to maintain the sharpness.

I used the liquify tool to readjust the shape of her face. Then erased the deformed areas.

Then with the pen tool i drew over her lips and eyes on a new layer to enhance the natural features. And used opacity to adjust.

With brightness and contrast i adjusted it till the image was more clear.

Final Comparison.
