Final Assignment

This final assignment required me to create my own art and design.

Bellow is the sketch that I created.

I choose a more dark theme.

Here are the steps to how I changed the image.

As usual I 1st opened the image on an empty artboard.

I began by tracing all the shapes on the image with the Pen Tool.

The Completed Tracing.

Using the lines i added color to the images. Using the gradient tool to add color gradients and such.

Image after the 1st colouring.

Added background colours and decided which is best.

Selected color.

Then i opened it in photoshop to add shadow effects and texture.

With the brush tool i added shadows with a light grey colour. Then i used the eraser tool to erase any mistakes or over draws. Next i used the blur tool to blur out any harsh edges that look un-blended. Then i used the opacity on the layers and made the shadow effects less opaque.

After I consulted with the lecturer i decided to change the images colour using the colour scheme form the image below found on deviantart.com.

Changed the colours on illustrator.

Back to where i left off.

I completed all the shadowing using the method as stated on the previous steps.

I added texture to the image by using a new layer and putting the bellow image on it. I then used the opacity and transparency tool to make it blend in to the surface.

Paper texture image i used.

Then i did the same to all the parts that i wanted to add textures to with the corresponding image.

The steps for each of the textures are basically the same, with the eraser tool, opacity and transparency tool.

The final, from sketch, to 1st coloring, to second coloring then the texturing.
